Arrival in Turin, Italy’s first capital city for an aperitivo and history tour followed by dinner at an iconic restaurant of Piemontese cuisine.
We will then spend the night in a luxury hotel in Turin.

Transfers to Le Vedette where we will start the experience with a practical masterclasses at home with Hisham making mammoul and learning how to cook with molasses.
Lunch and dinner paired from recipes of Hisham’s books paired with the best wines of Piemonte.

Make your own manouche breakfast demonstration with zaatar, cheese, kishk and awarma.
The day starts with a morning visit to Ivrea Farmers Market and a tasting of local cheeses.
Back at Le Vedette, Hisham will then lead a session at home teaching kibbeh, sambousik and other recipes from his books.
Garden aperitivo with cocktails at Lupetto then followed by dinner at Gardenia, our local Green Michelin starred restaurant in the village of Caluso

Hisham Assaad
Hisham Assaad is a Lebanese-Palestinian chef, food photographer, author, and all-around food lover who’s passionate about sharing the rich flavors and stories of his family’s heritage and traditions of Lebanon and Palestine.
Hisham has written two cookbooks: Bayrūt The Cookbook, which dives into classic Beiruti dishes and family recipes, and Taboon – Sweet and Savoury Delights from the Lebanese Bakery, focusing on the breads, pastries, and sweets that are staples across the Bilad Al Sham.
He appeared as a guest chef in many restaurants in Lebanon throughout his career and in France and Spain and now in Italy. His personal photography work has been displayed in two exhibitions in Beirut and a fundraiser exhibition in London. Hisham is also known for his creative side work as a humanitarian clown, bringing joy and support to communities through humor and art.

Michael Zee
Michael is the creator of Instagram account @symmetrybreakfast. Over the last ten years has published cookbooks and travel guides that have become international bestsellers. His new book ZaoFan: Breakfast of China was released in 2024 and won Best Cookery Book of the Year at the 2025 Fortnum & Mason awards.
Before his life in social media, Michael worked in learning programmes at the Victoria & Albert Museum developing workshops, tours and public programming that engaged with over 100,000 visiting teachers and students every year. He has a Masters in Education, a PGCE in Secondary Teaching and a Bachelors in Photography
Michael and his husband Mark are the owners of Le Vedette.

Single occupancy
A solo traveller taking any of the rooms for themselves is €5500 (per person).
(If there are other solo travellers, we may offer you the option to share)
Double occupancy
For a two people sharing a room, either a couple or two friends (bedrooms one, two and three can be converted into twin rooms). The price per person is €4250
Group bookings
For Bedroom One, a group of four friends can share this as a suite. The price for four people sharing is €3500 per person.
For a total buyout of the entire retreat by one group, please contact us directly for pricing.
